The Law of Pouvoir

I'm usually touted as a person with a 'di da ba' ( Malay for 'heck-it') attitude when i do things or when things go wrong. Why? Because when things happen, people see my reaction and wonder, " Why the heck is that ass taking things so cool? Doesn't he know that this is a big deal?"
So here we are to discuss today's topic, of which can be summed up in one word- Response.
Every single day in our lives, things go wrong. Whether at work, home or school, trouble always has a way to find us. That's why we have the saying 'Don't go looking for trouble, because trouble will come find you'. But that ain't the point here. The point is, what do we do when trouble finds us? How do we react? How SHOULD we react? What can we do to minimise its often detrimental influence?
Whatever trouble comes, whether you are hounded by attorneys of your competitors over intellectual property infringements or being millions of dollars in debt and all your creditors want their money all at once, it is always necessary to remember one eternal rule, of which i call The Law of Pouvoir, meaning the 'power to be able to'. It's French.
So back to the point. Why is this a LAW? It's because Man has been designed by God( whoever he is to you...or SHE is, for that matter)in a way that he can withstand any measurable obstacle that comes before him. In other words, Man is powerful. You are powerful, more than you think you are and more than you think you know you are.
When trouble comes to you then, what should you do? What is that one universal step that you must take? The one true star which will guide you out of your predicament, your ordeal? No matter who you are or how big your trouble is, the one true law to follow is the Law of Pouvoir, the belief in yourself. It is the first step! No other method comes before the fact that you must believe in yourself! If this dies, everything else will flicker and be extinguished. No matter how 'tested' or proven any solution is, the first and most indispensable step is to have the Law of Pouvoir in yourself, the belief in yourself as a person who is able to overcome anything, that you are powerful, that you are mighty. Nothing and no one in this world can help you if you fail to believe in yourself. It sounds clichéd enough, but how many people actually do that?
The act of reaffirmation of the belief one has towards oneself is the most indisputable and unquestioningly essential part of anyone's success, because it has both the power of pulling you out of the depths of failure and also to drive you towards anything you have ever dreamed of achieving. It can also help you keep your cool in any tough situation in which you plonk yourself.
The Law of Pouvoir, the first and the last light.

To the end of all, may your life be filled with nothing but success and happiness!

Merry Christmas!

What to do when people talk bull about you (Self confidence)

The world harbours plenty of insecure people. The kind of people of which i am talking about are the people who feel insecurity in themselves so much that they have to resort to underhand means like gossiping or rumour-spreading to feel that sense of power in themselves to make them feel better. To put it simply, they step on other people's heads to make them feel 'higher'.

This form of human behaviour is especially prevalent among adolescent females, though males are not exempt. The harm of which this bad-mouthing creates is something of which is a major concern. Schools don't teach people emotional intelligence. When these people hear what others gossip about them, the feelings of fear, anxiety, stress and all the other negative emotions come pounding on their hearts like drumsticks. So what should we do when people talk behind our backs and say not-so-nice things?

The is how a typical person would react.

1) She hears someone talk behind her back.
2)She gets upset, angry, emotional, teary.

then either of the following can occur...

a) She confronts the b*tch who said so-and-so about her and a cat fight will occur. (Well, something like that.)

b) She can follow my Patented 'Anti-bull protection' which i am going to share with you right now without you having to pay licensing fees.

What i do when people talk bull about me, whether in my face or behind my back, is this; I LISTEN TO EVERY SINGLE THING THEY SAY. Yes! That's the beauty of it! People would tell you to ignore, i would say go all out and listen to what the other person is saying, because that's where strength is developed. The more you ignore what people say, the harder it will be. The less you ignore, the more you'd realise that what they said is a whole load of bull, and the easier it will be for you to dismiss it.

So first thing is, i listen to what they say. Important Step #1.

2nd step! Almost as simple as the first one. Reflect on everything they said.
The thing is, even though you know that most of what people say about you is a truckload of crap, always know that there is also a learning opportunity behind it. Think to yourself the following question.

Which part of what they said is true and what can i do to improve myself based on it?

Always know that it is always easier to avoid the emotional pitfalls of bad gossip when we try to be understanding instead of being stubbornly arrogant. Your ears ain't closed, and what you try to dismiss is not going to be kept out just by you chanting to yourself, "I will not believe the crap they say about me". No, it's not going to work. You will eventually get the 'creeping effect' of the gossip and it will begin to affect you subconsciously, most probably in a negative way. So i say welcome the attack, pluck out the fruits ( the valid points of what they said), and throw away the thorns ( basically, the crap and bull). Simple as that. You won't get hurt. Tested and proven by me. So that's step #2.

That's the secret of repelling bad stuff you hear about yourself, from yourself. It's no use being an oyster with a hard shell that blocks off everything because one day it's just going to crack and affect the soft inside. My point here is, with the listen and reflect method, you have to be like a sponge which absorbs everything and nourish yourself with constructive stuff and release everything else which is not useful away. That is the way to handle negative feedback or rather, gossip.

Trump strategies for real estate (Real Estate investing)

Just read this book by George H. Ross, Donald Trump's right-hand man in business and his legal counsel (lawyer, basically). You see Rosssitting with Donald in the board room on TV in episodes of The Apprentice. So anyway, let's jump straight in...

Some of the great stuff I learnt from the book are as follows...

1. Increasing value of property

Improve it! Spruce it up! Whether with Italian carpets or decorations with a whiff of grandéur, improving yourproperty in terms of décor or added functions like an extra room or cupboard will make your property value go up. In fact, it doesn't even have to be expensive! The key is to improve features that the buyer will PERCEIVE AS EXPENSIVE. Polished doorknobs, varnished doors, fleece carpets, etc. Everyone wants to feel rich and good living in the place they live, whether they're poor, rich or middle class. No point improving features of your property which the buyer cannot see. If we were to look at Trump towers in New York, he gives condo buyers a sense of exclusivity and he decorates his properties with the finest marbles from the best quarries in Italy or the most beautiful trees.Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

If he sees a tree along the side of the road in someone's backyard he'd go up and knock on the front door of the house and say something like,'"Hi ma'am! I'd like to buy your tree." Usually he gets the tree which he would then plant in his golf clubs to beautify them. Be creative!Trump found a granite block while constructing one of his golf courses. The contractor told him he'd have to whack the granite out of the course. Trump, being the creative man in sprucing the golf course up,wondered, "Perhaps we can use this as a backdrop of the golf course?"". The contractor told him, "No way! You'll have to have lots of water to build a a waterfall that high and it might cost you a few million just to have this block of rock here renovated!". "Trump said, "Well, this will be a key hole in the golf course and golfers from all around will come and talk about it." Today the 13th hole is a much talked about subject and it costs $250,000 to have a membership in one of Trump's golf clubs. That's the benefit of making your property exclusive by sprucing it up. So key here is: improve features which the buyer will be able to see.

2. Negotiation tactics

Every negotiation requires planning, extensive at that. Your contact's background, etc. Know everything you can about him. And prepare everything for him. Instead of going through the numbers saying everything and going through all the ruddy graphs and all, what Trump does is put a bold, CAPITAL and
BIG heading at the bottom which says something like...

RETURN ON INVESTMENT 20%

You see? Trump doesn't waste time telling you everything. He goes straight to the point of the negotiation and doesn't waste time on irrelevant stuff. That's the essence of his style.

3. Leadership- motivation

Trump doesn't hesitate to praise someone in public if he can. If he sees a woodworker doing a fantastic piece of work, he'd say something like...

"George, you see that man there doing the woodwork? He's the best woodworker in the city, maybe the world!"

Yea we all know it's extremely exaggerated, but you can be sure the woodworker will do a better job than he was required to, while blushing heavily. The best thing is, it costs nothing at all! But let's say if Trump were to say something like this...

"You! Why are you so slow with your work? And zip up your pants!"

Do you think the man would be upset? Of course he would! He was embarrassed and hurt at the same time, and you can be sure there'll be flaws in his work. So the morale of the story is that it costs nothing to praise someone but it will cost something if you criticise someone.

Basically these are some of the more outstanding lessons i learnt from the book. It's an extremely information-rich book and i recommend it to any real estate investor or trader, whether just starting out or along the route already. The full title of the book is 'Trump strategies for real estate Billionaire lessons for the small investor'. I'm sure you'd find it a fantastic and extremely useful read.

I WOULD RATE IT : :):):)

That's all for today.

To the end of all may your life be filled with success!

More babies...a call of desperation..(Government policies)

The government of Singapore has been actively promoting and encouraging their people to have more babies. That is to say that the population of Singapore is not growing at an expected rate, most probably slow and also the fact that the population of Singapore is aging. In fact, 1 out of every 12 Singaporeans are aged 65 or above (http://www.mcys.gov.sg/successful_ageing/index.html). There is a dire need to find a remedy to counter this worrisome trend. If it is not done as promptly as possible, Singapore may find itself lacking in terms of not only human manpower, but more detrimentally, human resource and talent. Humans are every country's natural resource. For a country as small as Singapore, that is even more so.

The government has implemented incentivising policies to encourage people to have more babies through the use of work leaves, monetary grants and what not? However the rate of growth is not as fast as required and the population is not increasing at a speed and velocity which would be essential for the future of the country.

From my perspective, it is a little bit difficult to do so with the dawn of Globalisation. The world economies are becoming less and less segregated and they are becoming more and more integrated. Jobs from the MDCs are being exported to LDCs for a fraction of the price. Competition is becoming more intense, whether in the corporate world or the business world. However, globalisation brings with it major benefits in the form of opportunities. With the full fledged power of the Information Age, people are becoming more and more sophisticated and look for more flamboyant lifestyles to suit their ever growing want for a higher level of affluence.

The call for more babies will be 'obstacle-ised' by this advent of globalisation. People would more rather pursue career opportunities than settle down at night to make love. In a conservative Asian state like Singapore, this is very much so. However, if the government were to address this problem, another essential arm of their armada of encouragements would be to promote sex. Promote the joy of having sex, promote books on sex, encourage newly wedded couples to go for sexual sensation courses, programmes or what not?

The point is, couples need to have more sex, but from the way i see it (not that i have visually experienced their inadequacy), they do not. Moreover, conservative people do not know the intricacies of sex, of which i will not go into here, of which can be summarised as the finer details of the process. The government has to promote sex. Simple as that. It cannot be said with more importance. They have to go all out to promote safe, passionate, morally motivated sex. However they would have to be careful as to not stray into the part of sex which some term as 'fucking'. That word connotates a casualness and citizens in the land might be put off by its immorality. The government has to incentivise this area in addition to their whole armory of incentives to boost the population growth of Singapore to finally be able to get Singaporeans to 'have more babies'.

Luck Cluck (Success)

Luck. What imagery does this word bring to your head? Well, definitely for most of you what comes to mind is a sort of a bright star which can be seen at a distance. This is what the perception of most people is of luck. But luck is only useful if you try and avoid it.

People who are looked at as successful by other people are also looked upon as having luck or they got to where they were by caso. The thing about luck is successful people view luck as being 'labour under correct knowledge'. Now, that has a few implications. It can mean you know what you are doing and have a clear goal and direction of where you are going. It can also refer to the technicalities involved and having them with you in the pursuit of your success. But the basic thing is that successful people do not allow luck to decide what they achieve or who they become. They will not say, "Well, maybe this'll work, maybe it won't, so let's try it and find out". These are the words of people who look at luck as the prerequisite for anything- sports, business, school, love or marriage success. The problem with depending on luck for success is that luck will rarely get you anything you want.

Luck is an evil and bastardly thing and it works exactly like a double edged sword. It can work for you or it can work against you, usually in greater degrees. If you count on luck to get where you want to go, you will go nowhere. You will fail. You will not succeed. The only people who succeed through luck are those people who have a plan and that plan meets an opportunity. My business partner told me of this and of course I agreed. It is when you have a plan prepared and ready, like a bag-packing for a great hike, that you will be lucky. And when you do succeed, you will say," Oh well, i was lucky".

Suing your boss... (Government policies)

I think the new laws in the US for suing bosses for creating an 'abusive work environment' is stupid and ridiculous and a product of having a pure democratic country. Donald Trump is also totally against this idea and i agree with him when he says that if your company doesnt treat you with the respect that you deserve, then you should quit! Obviously, we make the choices and design our lives to what we want it to be. People will develop a crutch mentality if they are left to do what they want by the government. The worst problems come when governments are not pragmatic and give these people what they want. The rationale should be clear and logical and not something as childish as this.

There will be a lot of controversy in the future because of this, and a whole mess at the court will be inevitable.

Having this will allow you to breach any barrier of success...(Success)

Haven't we all ever wondered why some people are more successful than others even though they may seem as if they have not done much of a work to attain that success? What is it that some people have that propels them to success no matter the circumstance? Is it their talent alone? Is it luck? The presence of great opportunities? Being at the right place at the right time?

A big part lies in one thing- work ethic.
When i talk about work ethic, it refers to the energy you put into something you want to do so as to attain it. It refers to the attitude, the mindset, the position of which you put yourself in mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually in attaining something you want to attain, namely your success. IN OTHER WORDS, AS LONG AS ONE WORKS HARD AND APPLY THE RIGHT STRATEGIES, HE WILL ACHIEVE WHAT HE WANTS TO ACHIEVE.

During dinner yesterday, one of my family members who's a staff of a bank was talking about a woman who is also a staff there. She is in her late 20s and is drawing a salary of over a $1 million a year. In a private bank, luck will not get you anywhere high enough to be able to draw out that kind of a salary. Yes, it might be the reason for her success but if we were to look at what happens next and compare the situations, we would see that it is not luck or some supernatural force which helped her get to where she was. Apparently, she was caught in some fraudulent act which rendered her impossible to get a job ever again in the finance industry, the industry which she currently is in. She was kicked and locked out from there. So what happens? Get lucky and try again? No. What happened next was that she went to look for a job in the real estate industry and after a period of time of working hard, she was again making over a million dollars a year in salary. So what constitutes a big part of her success? Is it the technical know-how? Perhaps. However i am quite certain that a huge element for her success is her attitude towards her work. Her work ethic. How can someone who finds a new job in a totally different industry make over a million dollars a year so quickly? The answer hugely lies in her work ethic or her hardworking attitude. Yes, you might say that she might have slept with her clients or something but definitely that would not have gotten her as far as the good ol' work attitude she adopts.

Donald Trump would not be as successful as he is today were he not to adopt a strong work ethic. He sleeps at 1a.m. in the morning at rises at 5 in the same morning. What else can be a major factor for people's success besides the fact that they have a strong and forceful work ethic that can go through storms in the corporate, business or whatever world they are in? The answer lies in just that- work ethic.

In the next related topic, i would go though the essentials needed to form that work ethic of successful people.

Cheers!

To your success!

Lisa's rags to riches story and what we can learn from it (Money)

Adapted from Nightingale-Conant

Lisa Diane's SUCCESS STORY

There was a time in my life, not too long ago, that I was terrified of what my future would hold. It was the early 90s. I had just closed the doors on a business I had started and worked so hard to make successful. I tried everything imaginable to keep things going. I used every available credit card to pay my bills and took every cash advance that I could, thinking if I just held on long enough, things would eventually work out.
When it was all said and done, I was left with no source of income, over $50,000 in credit-card debt, and a negative balance in my checking account. I had collection agencies calling me all hours of the day. So much so, in fact, I changed my phone number three times! I was afraid to go to the mailbox or answer the door, for fear of what would come next. I took my son to a Little League game one night and came home to find out that my car had been repossessed. My home was on the brink of foreclosure for months at a time, and I had to borrow rolls of change from my kids just to keep food on the table. Life was almost unbearable. I could see no light at the end of this tunnel.
I felt as if the weight of the world was on my shoulders. Whoever says money isn't important hasn't been forced to split a $1.99 meal at Burger King for dinner several nights a week. When you don't have money, it feels like the most important thing in the world. It controls your life. Not having money can destroy people and families. It breaks up marriages, forces people into desperate situations, where they make really bad decisions — for some it even takes their life. Money IS important. Money is what allows us to provide for our children, to live in a safe and secure environment, and to meet the needs of our family. Is money the most important thing in life? Of course not, but you MUST have money to live — and without it, you're doomed to a life of quiet desperation.
I was determined to discover the "secret" to lasting success. I must admit, I've always been a dreamer. From the time I was little, I had visions of success, riches, and the firstclass lifestyle I would someday enjoy. But at this point in my life, I was further away from realizing those dreams than ever before. I spent months searching for the answer — for the solution to why some people seemed to get all the "breaks" in life, while nothing ever seemed to work out for me. Everyone I knew suggested I take my head out of the clouds and face reality. They said I should go out and get a job — any job. But I just couldn't do it. Somehow I knew deep inside that if I gave up now and went to work for someone else, I would be trading my dream-life ... packed full of possibilities ... for a dead-end 9-to-5 fast track to nowhere.
As the saying goes, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
In my search for the "secret" of success, I came across a book called Super Self, by Charles Givens, that contained ideas I had never heard before ... ideas that marked the turning point in my life. I began applying these ideas, believing they held the key to a whole new world for me — and they did!
After reading the book, I started a little business out of my home that generated over $653,000 within six months. From there, I went on to build two companies, growing from zero revenue to generating millions of dollars in income.
The ideas that I originally learned from the book were the starting point. From there, I began reading every book, listening to every audio prosuccess gram, and attending every seminar I could find on topics like success, personal development, motivation, prosperity, business strategies, financial freedom, and spiritual growth.
Since that time over a decade ago, I've seen my personal and financial dreams come true right before my very eyes. Sometimes I still have to stop and pinch myself to believe that all of this has happened to me. I lost my car to the repo man ... I was blessed to be able to purchase three Jaguar "dream cars" in return. I could barely hold onto my little house ... today I own a beautiful oceanfront condo at a resort beach on one coast, and I live in a multimillion dollar four-story 6,000- square foot waterfront estate on the other. My bank accounts were all in the "negative"... within a short time I had multiple accounts, some with balances higher than the FDIC would insure. I lived in fear of what the future would hold ... I now have total peace of mind and excitement over what the future has in store.
So what made the difference? What is the "secret" to success?
If I could sum it up in one sentence, using what I call the Five Magic Words, it would be "Your thoughts create your life."
There you have it. It's one of the simplest ideas that could possibly be shared, yet the single most powerful influence on your success or failure in business and in life. This has been the most important lesson I've ever learned.
When I was sitting in my house, afraid to answer my phone, staring at the huge stack of bills and collection notices that were growing bigger by the day, my thoughts were creating my life. All I focused on were my problems ... the money I didn't have, the business I didn't own, the car I could no longer drive, the bills I couldn't pay ... these were the things that I thought about all day long. And you know what happened? I got more of the same every day.
By filling my mind with these desperate thoughts of financial crisis, fear, worry, and lack, I continued to bring more of these things into my life. What we think about, we bring about. This was a new concept for me. Most of my life I heard people say "I'll believe it when I see it." I learned the truth is, you'll see it only when you believe it. The thoughts we continually focus on today (whether they be thoughts of what we want or don't want) will be our reality tomorrow.
What I learned was if I wanted to improve the quality of my life, I had to first improve the quality of my thoughts. Fortunately for me, I was so desperate that I didn't really have the chance to doubt or second-guess these ideas. I had to believe them. They were my only hope for a better life.
I made the decision to believe that my past would not equal my future. The first thing I did was answer the question, "If I could have, do, or be absolutely anything regardless of time, money, or talent, what would it be?" I wrote out a list of 25 dreams that I wanted to accomplish, and I tacked my list to the wall right above the desk in my living room.
My list contained things like buying a burgundy Jaguar XJ6, living in a large home on the water, having $25,000 in the bank, and owning a home business with a $10,000-a-week income. Now keep in mind, I wrote this list at a time when I didn't even have $25 in the bank — so the concept of having $25,000 was totally outrageous. And my car, well you remember what happened to my car — the repo man took it away. So needless to say, these were big dreams that required a total 180- degree change in mindset.
I read my dreams list faithfully three times a day. I spent time picturing my dreams as already being my reality. It was the first time in my life that daydreaming was on purpose. I would sit and imagine myself driving down the highway in my Jaguar. I could see that huge bank balance, and I would walk through all the rooms in my new home. These dreams became more real to me than the life that appeared to be my reality for the moment.
I began filling my mind with positive ideas and thoughts that would support the life I desired — the life I believed I was destined to live. And within six months from the day I first wrote that list of 25 dreams, I had achieved 23 of them. In most cases, I far exceeded what was written on the list. That was 10 years ago.
As I write this story, I'm sitting in my wonderful home, looking out the window at the beautiful panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico, realizing that it wasn't that long ago that this home was a dream on my list waiting to be realized. To this day I review my dreams list (which now contains over 100 dreams) several times a day. I am continually excited and surprised at how quickly dreams are realized — even the big ones!
That's not to say life is always perfect. There are some things we can't control. For instance, last summer I suffered a devastating loss when my 7,000-square foot office burned down. Within a matter of minutes, everything I had worked for during the last 10 years was destroyed. My staff of 15 people and I were left without even as much as a paper clip. This was one of those defining moments ... the opportunity for me to "walk my talk"... and I assure you, there were many people watching. I chose to ignore my current circumstances and instead began using my thoughts to create the outcome that I desired. Today, we have relocated to an 11,000-square foot building. We've turned this tragedy into an opportunity. We see this as a fresh start ... a new beginning ... the chance to regroup and refocus our energies on what's most important — making a positive difference in people's lives.
Zig Ziglar says, "We can have anything we want in life if we're willing to help enough other people get what they want." Today, my company, Inspiration Point, is focused entirely on helping people create the lives they desire and deserve. Having this opportunity to impact people's lives for the better has been the ultimate success for me.

Basically what we can learn from this story of Lisa's is that money is something which makes the world go round, to put it simply. It can affect you emotionally, destroy your self-esteem and after which your life, whichever aspect of it. Thus money, if dismissed of its importance, will somehow find its way to make you see that it is your master. When money enslaves you into working and struggling for it, yoiu will most probably be at the losing end. Only after mastering and enslaving money will you be able to command it the way you want and having that result of having it work for you. When that happens, you are at the 'fountain of wealth', where abundance of wealth will rain down upon you like a storm and flood your home like a tsunami.

Another thing we can learn from it is that you can achieve whatever you want in this world if you have enough reason to do so. When you have that kind of mindset of having the reasons of which you want to do something, then naturally the steps of which to attain it would present itself to you. However that mindset has to ve cultivated first before such a reality would exist. This would mean having the reason and the passion of doing something, after which with the mindset, opportunities would be there. Almost magically.

When that happens, you are at the summit of your success.

Till the end of all may your life be filled with success..

I personally feel strongly for the people who choose to remain in this kind of life. It reminds me fondly of the hamster and its wheel. Certainly, many of us go through that kind of lifestyle ever sice we are young, at least for most of us in Singapore.
In school, we are conditioned to 'work long hours' and it is a perfect place to condition us for the corporate environment.
Many of us yearn to work 'high up' in the corporate ladder so that we may earn a respectable earned income. However the issue of which i would like to address is this; at what cost is this for us? Longer worktime, overtime? Trade a few hours of overtime of our lives for a few dollars?
Perhaps many of us think this is the right path. After all, our parents and their parents before them have embarked on this 'path', thus it naturally falls on us to follow suit. However, we are, and it is crucial that you realise this, in the midst of the Information Age (Or information highway as Bill Gates calls it) and rules of the world change, from Laws, business, opinions (NKF), facts (think of pluto), government, media, etc.
We are in a place where we are surrounded by opportunities, yet many of us choose to 'shut the door, hide under the bed and cover our butts' by following the 'path' laid out for us by our parents. In other words, we choose to hide from this world instead of embracing it. I mean, in school the word 'globalisation' brings with it negativism like fear, insecurity, etc..This is what i mean. It is about embracing new changes and not hiding from it afraid it will harm us.
Think about this fellows..cheers!

The power of networking (Success)

Yesterday i talked about the power of choice, or rather to make a choice in our lives for complete control of our whole body and mind. This is the link... http://alextrump.blogspot.com/2007/06/choice-of-making-choice.html

Today i will talk about something of which is great importance in all of our lives. This single most important word will determine our happiness or ease of success. The word, as stated obviously in the title is none other than the word 'network'. It may seem quite obvious to you after i state what its importance is. Networking, whether in business or friendships or whatever reason, is crucial because of what it brings about with it. First thing which is the most beneficial is the fact that there is exponential power involved whenever there is a network. No matter what the size of the network is, from 2 entities onwards of course, there would be exponential power involved. Exponential power is something which happens when multiple entities come together and the product which is something which is much greater than what the sum of the 2 can produce alone. Confused? Well, put it this way. Let us take the number 1 and say that it can do 1 unit worth of work. If two '1's were to work independently, their total combined result would be 2, right? So here is where the power of networking comes in; were the two '1's to come together and do the work, 3 units of production would be produced. Get it? It is this synergy of working together that a quantum leap in production will happen. In business, partners share their expertise and know-how to complement each other's abilities. In friendships, the more friends you have the more fun you will get. In law, the police always wins because the gangs have a smaller network as compared to the cops. And so on and so forth..

So you see, networking is crucial because there is a bond between all the entities involved and this creates a higher power which can propel you to your objective and goal. Today is the first post on networking. On the next post i will be going into some of the other more beneficial adventages to having a network in your life and why networks always win.

To your success and happiness!

The choice of making a choice (Success)

I totally agree with what my friend leroy said today about the power of choice. We have and can make a choice thus difference to the world around us. Yet many of us behave reactively, complain and whine about the situation around us.

If there is something which the world needs it is the need for more proactive people. If there were more, our world that we live in would be much more less troubled and much more happy.

When you make a choice, you are in control of your life, the people around you and thus your environment. If you are not making a choice for yourself, you are losing control my friend! And people ironically hate to 'have no control' yet they do it everyday! I hear people blaming everyone else, getting angry and thus losing control when things do not go their way and this is exactly what i am talking about.

You have to make a conscious choice, take responsibility and thus gain control over the situation around you. When you do that, you will have a mental state of equilibrium and tranquility within yourself when you finally have that control.

This is the link to leroy's blog on this matter, read it carefully. It might be short and succinct, but the concept it presents could change an aspect of your life forever.

Why I started this library

Hi there! My name is Alex and i am indeed excited about starting this blog right now. Firstly let me congratulate myself! Yea yea..i was just kiddin!
But anyway, the reason why i started this blog is because i am a person who thinks and thinks. In fact, I think so much when i am commuting, bathing, etc that i sometimes forget what i had thought about! The worst part is when i thought of something logical, like an answer to a phenomenon of some sort, and moments later forget about it! Oh man! So i created this library to store my thoughts in it and also a place where i can recommend others to see whenever i want to share with them the lessons i learnt along the path of my life.
In this library i will be posting my thoughts and ideas about psychology, wealth, love, success, education and the world in general. O course it doesn't just end there! Many more things are yet to come and you'd better stay tuned! Aha! I was kiddin again! But yea, if you need help of any sort, you can come back here to my blog and find the topic of which you want answers to. If there is no such topic present, you can email me directly at alextrump1990@yahoo.com.sg and i will do my best to answer your queries.
So yea, take good care and enjoy your life because the rest of your days are finite!

To your happiness!

Alex Trump
